Account Management (Dallas, TX or New York, NY)

We are looking for: Account Manager – Dallas or New York

The Role & Responsibilities of the Account Manager

  • Manage a portfolio of assigned partner accounts including responsibility for high quality and timely project deliverables, additional account penetration, revenue generation and retention, and profitability.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis. Identify opportunities to provide additional solutions to existing partners. Turn partner requests into value-added deliverables which are delivered with the highest quality and timeliness. Deliver customer delight.
  • Design, build, and deliver fact-based models using a variety of statistical and data mining tools with support of a team of analysts and data scientists. Transform data-related insights into sales and marketing recommendations that drive partner payback and ROI. Ensuring that our deliverables are of the highest quality and accuracy, and that these deliverables address the partner need in a clear and compelling manner, is a primary objective of the Account Manager. This will entail both hands-on involvement and team oversight during data modeling, data analysis and insight formation, and final deliverable creation.
  • Support professional development and provide career mentoring to members of the team.
  • Be flexible to assume different responsibilities as required for a small company, including customer communication, project management, technology, and planning.

The People We’re Looking For

Precision is looking for excellent communicators with the desire to transform data into understanding and action.

  • The ideal candidate may come from the B2B side of CPG, Industrial, or Healthcare companies, from a consulting background providing analysis and insight to those businesses, or from a prior account management role for a firm providing solutions and services to those businesses.
  • Relevant skills and knowledge include B2B Sales and Marketing best practices in the aforementioned verticals, client management, consultative selling, analysis, data mining, problem solving, data visualization, statistics, customer communication, and project management.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required. Experience with SQL, statistics, or other database tools a plus. Technical skills and an affinity for data paired with strong internal and client facing communication skills.
  • Understanding of B2B markets, the role of manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, professional end-users, distribution channels and vertical markets. Sales and marketing applications for B2B.
  • 4-year undergraduate degree required. 3.5 (out of 4.0) GPA required; >3.75 preferred.
